A friend introduced me last month, and I've been hooked on this lead single since. LIYL The Killers, White Rabbits. The quartet will be playing Lee’s Palace in Toronto on March 18th. Favourite track? "Skip The Charades"; it's a little slower, with resonating vocals and a sweet sounding accompaniment.

The above track titled "Saints & Sinners" from I Am Empire's second album. I strongly recommend it if you're looking for some heavier pop punk; great repertoire, especially considering they're only 3 years young.

EastScene: Kings borrows techniques from the wave of arena rock that has mounted charts recently... it’s a shame they’re not better known.

A human experience, through audio.

Despite its title, the Drop covers all genres, including EDM. It focussed primarily on the local Toronto scene until 2013, after which most of my written music coverage shifted to The B-Side, a publication friends and I founded at UC Berkeley. During that time, this page has held more poetry and personal musings, but as of 2017, I'm back to covering what I did best here -- new and unique sounds.
