Started in 2001, 65days is not your typical idea of pop-punk. Take their song "Retreat! Retreat!" and put Dave Faber's vocals over it, and you have Faber Drive, but instead the song has a driving ambient energy to it.

The listener's full attention is drawn to the instrumentals. Irregular time is incorporated into many of their tracks. It's a refreshing change from the wave of pop-punk in the late 2000s. They supported The Cure a couple years ago, and played many international festivals.

In the last 6 years, they've released four full-length albums and one live DVD. Obviously, they haven't had to write lyrics, but their music? Definitely one-up on those other bands out there- every entry is perfect, percussive ideas implemented. Their tracks are great for workout music, analysis practice (I'm such a nerd) and if you're a pop-punk fan, background noise.
