At first I paid little attention to Valhalla Dancehall, but on second glance, it really is quite something. The sound of British Sea Power is deep and layered, much like The National. What sets them apart? They're fun and convertible in the way great indie rock always is.

They were exactly as I expected them to be and to my delight, lovelier. Basically, the album title is fitting and the more I stare at the cover, the more I like it. Favourite tracks? "Observe The Skies" and "Heavy Water". Take a listen,
