Early 2011 Red Fang album

PORTLAND, OREGON - Straight metal band Red Fang are set to release a sophomore album (following last year's self-titled debut). The working title thus far is Murder The Mountains, with a tentative early spring drop date. The following is "Number Thirteen", to be released on the album; give it a listen.

I find them a little lenient toward hard rock with a bit of swing and metallic tendencies, but nonetheless enjoyable.

A human experience, through audio.

Despite its title, the Drop covers all genres, including EDM. It focussed primarily on the local Toronto scene until 2013, after which most of my written music coverage shifted to The B-Side, a publication friends and I founded at UC Berkeley. During that time, this page has held more poetry and personal musings, but as of 2017, I'm back to covering what I did best here -- new and unique sounds.
