I mean, you can't say the iTunes sidebar is "piz wat"- good for nothing. After all, it showed me this little gem that I wish I'd uncovered earlier. Check out their newest single, "Ten-Twenty-Ten". I fell in love at 0:10, let alone 20; that first sparkly-tanged guitar hook is positively ridiculous.

A human experience, through audio.

Despite its title, the Drop covers all genres, including EDM. It focussed primarily on the local Toronto scene until 2013, after which most of my written music coverage shifted to The B-Side, a publication friends and I founded at UC Berkeley. During that time, this page has held more poetry and personal musings, but as of 2017, I'm back to covering what I did best here -- new and unique sounds.
