Los Angeles: GROUPLOVE announces debut

The California-based quintet will be premiering their debut album on September 5th (UK) / 13th (US). They're signed to Canvasback recordings, and have already self-recorded and released a 6-song EP. Check them out on their website.

A human experience, through audio.

Despite its title, the Drop covers all genres, including EDM. It focussed primarily on the local Toronto scene until 2013, after which most of my written music coverage shifted to The B-Side, a publication friends and I founded at UC Berkeley. During that time, this page has held more poetry and personal musings, but as of 2017, I'm back to covering what I did best here -- new and unique sounds.
