After Midnight Project "shoots" video

There was no pun intended originally, but then came these pictures, posted via the band's Twitter account. Which video they're shooting for tomorrow? No clue.

Just got pulled over en route to Tahoe. Nicest highway patrol ever. Thanks for saving us about $1100 in fines :)

I wasn't particularly impressed by their debut video, "Take Me Home", but their 2009 release, Let's Build Something To Break is an intriguing crossbreed of post-grunge and melancholic pop. I'm a big fan of Danny Morris's drumwork.

A human experience, through audio.

Despite its title, the Drop covers all genres, including EDM. It focussed primarily on the local Toronto scene until 2013, after which most of my written music coverage shifted to The B-Side, a publication friends and I founded at UC Berkeley. During that time, this page has held more poetry and personal musings, but as of 2017, I'm back to covering what I did best here -- new and unique sounds.
