This four-piece band from Montreal has the been the latest rage in the indie world. And for good reason- the soaring vocal harmonies are pleasant and the production is sound. LIYL The Ghost Is Dancing, Savoir Adore, West Indian Girl.

Despite its title, the Drop covers all genres, including EDM. It focussed primarily on the local Toronto scene until 2013, after which most of my written music coverage shifted to The B-Side, a publication friends and I founded at UC Berkeley. During that time, this page has held more poetry and personal musings, but as of 2017, I'm back to covering what I did best here -- new and unique sounds.
