STACEY: "I don't want to sleep alone tonight"

Toronto songstress STACEY has, to all but her close friends and family, appeared out of nowhere with her eponymous debut, STACEY. A heart-churning, crystalline EP, STACEY documents unrequited love ("Worst Part"), the long wait ("Sleep Alone"), missed opportunity ("Share"), disclosure ("Calling Me"), and a forgivable rendering of two sins ("All to Myself"). Her first major release produced by Alex Bonenfant, STACEY's eerie good. With ethereal vocals and full keyboard harmonies, it's as if STACEY has been here before.
